- February carnival: Malaga’s streets are colourful and full of fun in a week whose main goal is happiness and you can go unnoticed.
- San Juan Party: parties at the main Malaga’s squares and beaches with the famous “verbenas” (open-air dance) to welcome summer solstice. This special party takes place on 23rd Eve in June.
- Malaga’s Fair: maybe this is the most keenly anticipated event of the year for people from Malaga and visitors. This fair lasts for 10 days/24 hours a day and the party is uninterrupted.
- Malaga’s Tapas Festival (in May or June): It is located in the city centre (Plaza de la Marina) and it last For approximately 5 days. Here you can taste more than 300 typical “tapas” dishes from Malaga.
Moreover, you cannot stop attending Malaga’s Holy Week. Catholic religion and faith is expressed through processions that go round the main streets of the city and this is a nice and elegant performance that catches your attention because of its colourfulness and respect for everyone’s religious beliefs.
